‘She is a beautiful piece of broken pottery, put back together by her own hands. And a critical world judges her cracks while missing the beauty of how she made herself whole again’………J.M. Storm
I started this year with an exhibition of my own version of Alice in Wonderland here in the Blue Mountains. Lots of lovely people came through the door and I had some wonderful conversations with visitors. I love how art stirs up memories and emotions and the conversations that flow as a result.
One such conversation was with Michelle who was visiting the gardens and came to see the exhibition unintentionally. She left with a copy of my book ‘From Fractured to Fairytale’ which is the story of my life told as a fairy tale. She messaged me a bit later and asked if I would like to have a chat for her podcast and of course I said yes. Well last week that chat took place.
She was so lovely and easy to talk to so conversation flowed as I spoke about how art has helped me heal from trauma.
If you would like to have a listen, please head on over to Love is Divine and have a listen to And She Chose to Live On.
Happy listening……Livvy xx
