I can’t believe how many photos I ignored when I went to the UK. I took so many that it was completely overwhelming to come home and have to go through them all. But go through them, i finally have. Okay, more than a year after I came home, but better late than never. These are some of the photos I took at Salisbury Cathedral. I was totally in awe of the magnificent architecture and more than a little excited at actually seeing the Magna Carta. What can I say… I love history..
Never give up. Great things take time.
Those who do not move, do not notice their chains.
Fear is the highest fence.
If you don’t like where you are, change it. You are not a tree.
Do not fear.
May there be many windows to your soul, that all the glory of the world may beautify it.
People are like stained – glass windows.
They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in
their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within
The fear of death follows from the fear of life.
A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.
Nothing great is ever achieved without enthusiasm.
Next time you think of beautiful things, don’t forget to count yourself in.
All experience is an arch, to build upon.
The seat of the soul is where the inner and outer worlds meet.
Be on your guard against a silent dog and still water.
We can hide things away but we can’t forget.
Spread the love by sharing
