It’s week 2 of the One Four Challenge for June. Here is last week’s version and then this week’s version.

Week 1

This Week – Week 2
So this week I started again in Lightroom with the cropped & straightened picture. I then added a lot of contrast , a little white and a tiny bit of saturation. Then I took Highlights, Vibrance and Clarity down a little bit. I added a green filter to the highlights and a blue filter to the shadows. I upped the sharpening and luminance, added a bit of a vignette and just generally played with the colours until I was happy with them.
Then I took it into Photoshop where I added a slight gaussian blur. Then back into Lightroom where I proceeded to give it a cartoon like feel. To do this I upped Exposure, Contrast, Shadows, Clarity & Saturation whilst decreasing Highlights, Whites & Blacks. I then added a green filter again to the highlights and a tan filter to the shadows. I upped the luminance again and then added a white vignette border.
Now I have to put my thinking cap on to see what I can come up with for next week. If you’d like to join in the One Four Challenge head on over to Robyn’s Captivate Me site to get all the details.
Happy editing.. Livvy xxx

A great edit – the over-exposed look suits the image really well. 🙂
Thank you.. I’m glad you think it suits. It’s fun playing around more than you usually would 🙂

Thanks Robyn.. It’s a style I like to play with. I like a slightly surreal world 🙂
He he, its very effective. I like this world too 😃
I rather like it, Livvy – a bit like an old postcard, very nostalgic…Ah, I’ve just noticed the person before me said the same!! 🙂
Thank you.. I’m glad I achieved what I set out to do. It was such an old fashioned building. 🙂
And isn’t it great to find such places!
oh it is. I love finding little gems.. This was taken from the back of a rickshaw bike taxi lol. I quickly snapped it as we whizzed by
Hi Livvy – tres sympa! Come une vieille carte postale😊
