It’s Christmas time and I think one of the things I love most about Christmas is the lights. Not just because they are blingy and bright (although that does appeal to me) but because people put them up for the community to get a thrill out of. This place in Leura, NSW stands out like a beacon of season’s greetings. It stands close to the rail line and highway so can be seen by visitors and locals alike. I think it’s wonderful to see the community out and about, admiring lights and starting conversations with other fellow light-admirers, which they might not do on the street or in the supermarket. It evokes a feeling of community Christmas spirit and spreads good cheer. Good on those who build these shiny wonderlands for us all to admire. You light up our season.

Loving the lights xx
I grew up in Leura and we would come out to see this house each Christmas. Glad to see the tradition is still going strong 🙂
I can’t believe the amount of work that goes into it.. Such a great community spirit. It’s nice to hear from someone who has seen it before 😀
