Another place that we didn’t have enough time in. We travelled a day by bus and train to get to Edinburgh from Luton.. then spent a night at the base of the castle before heading off at lunchtime the next day to go to Ireland. I would love to go back and explore much more of Scotland at a more leisurely pace. The scenery, the people, everything… all beautiful.
Turns out I was finding myself though I didn’t know I was lost.
Moons and years pass by and are gone forever but a beautiful moment shimmers through life.. a ray of light.
As long as there is pink in the world it will always be a better place.
Sometimes it’s hard being a princess.. Then I remember I can wear pink as much as I want and I feel fabulous

It’s all for nothing if you don’t have freedom.
Don’t wait. The timing will never be just right.

But he heard high up in the air, a piper piping away. Never was piping so sad and never was piping so gay. William Butler Yeats

Oh, I would stow away in your suitcase in an instant for that trip! My great grandmother was from Scotland and I’ve always wanted to see/experience it for myself! On my bucket list, for sure… Beautiful pics. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
I didn’t expect to have an affinity with it. but I just fell in love with it. If your grandmother was from there, no doubt it would feel like home to you.. YOu’d love it.
Beautiful photos! Funny, a colleague from Scotland was just highlighting its beauty. This seals the deal for me. Starting a savings jar imminently. 🙂 thanks for making my morning!
I”m glad you like them.. You seriously have to go.. I wish I’d spent more time there but the point of the trip was to go to Ireland, so Scotland was just a side trip. I want to go back and explore it properly. It’s so beautiful.
