Ahhh. I loved Bath. Such a beautiful place. It is simply oozing history. As you walk the streets, you know that every brick, every paver, every building has so many stories that they could tell. We only had a short time here and like nearly everywhere else we visited, it wasn’t enough. I would love to go back here.
Nature always wears the colours of the spirit.
History will be kind to me as I intend to write it.
You can’t photograph the spirit of the building. You have to stand in front of it and experience it.
For most of history, anonymous was a woman.
Sometimes you h ave to stand alone to prove that you can still stand.
Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it’s the task of the sculptor to discover it.
Let not a man guard his dignity but his dignity guard him.
Old places have soul.
The voices inside my head may not be real but they have some great ideas.
If you’re feeling blue, try painting yourself a different colour.
I had been struck by the excitement of the traveller who looks history in her subtle face.
If there is magic on this planet, it is in water.
Water is the driving force of all nature.
We can learn so much from the ghosts of our past who walk amongst us.
I alone cannot change the world but I can cast a stone across the water to make many ripples.
Beware the barrenness of a busy life.
Whispers of voices long gone still echo in the walls.
Life is like a bath. The longer you’re in it, the more relaxed and wrinkly you get.
True intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.
Memories are the best souvenirs.
A man without a smiling face should not open a shop.
Proper lighting is everything.
It’s not just history.. It’s HERstory too.
Why limit happy to an hour?
Oink means I love you in piggy language.
Tomorrow we can go for a walk in the park, hold hands and blow bubbles.
Life is really simple but we insist on making it complicated.
Spread the love by sharing
